Biography:
Dianna Aston has earned paychecks as a journalist, a candy jar
painter, and an activity director at Marbridge, but she considers
the job as Mom to James and Lizzie as her most important work. She
began writing for children when Lizzie was a newborn in 1996.
Although she thought it would be a cinch to publish a picture
book, she learned it wasn’t, as publication dates reveal: LOONY
LITTLE (2003); WHEN YOU WERE BORN (2004); BLESS THIS MOUSE (2004);
AN EGG IS QUIET; MAMA OUTSIDE, MAMA INSIDE; and PAPA’S WILD
CHILD/MAMA’S WILD CHILD (all 2006).
